One game that has been left to rot in the ages is Ape Escape, and it’s high time that we finally saw an Ape Escape 4 for the PlayStation 5.
Here is a 2016 wish list of both realistic and outlandish things PlayStation fans would want to see.
I'm dying to see a new Twisted Metal coming to the PS4 with some improved controls and whole load of characters.
Only a few things I want from ps4 next year are.
More adventure games (original or pc ports)
Rime (this wait bruuh😩)
Disaster Report 4 Plus NA release with english voice cast just like the old games had.
Overhaul improvements to PSN / PS4 UI
New IPs from the action adventure genre
Have sales on games as frequent and low as other platforms.
I think I had set RiME into the recesses of my mind because I don't want to wait for it.
Definitely agree w/ the Adventure & Action/Adventure points, and Rime...we need more games like Uncharted, especially if this will be the last one.
There is a big hole to be filled in terms of quality narrative driven sp campaigns that aren't open world rpg's...Seems like there were so many great ones last gen, and this gen we've had next to none. I don't want to have to wait through a decade of a dry spell to get to the inevitable "throwback" phase. This type of game should never go away.

Siliconera: "Last week, we mentioned Ape Escape 4 was one of two Ape Escape games in development. And when its ready Sony Computer Entertainment Europe will publish it.
A release date for Europe has not been announced, but a localized version of the monkey catching game is planned. That’s good to hear considering how other Ape Escape games like Piposaru 2001 and Ape Escape: Saru Saru Master Moves were skipped in the West."
At Tokyo Game Show, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan listed an Ape Escape game for PlayStation Move. It wasn’t at E3, so Siliconera got in touch with Ape Club, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s Ape Escape hub, to find out what happened to the game.
it would be nice if we head 3 big events per year. Not only E3. Gamescom is big Sony in last 3 years has head press conference during that event and had some announcements, hope that increses in the future. Same goes for TGS. There are so many games these days, so spread it. Also lets not forget VGA, always couple of announcements on that show. I like that. E3 should not be be all end all event.

You know, Twisted Metal was shown at E3. They mentioned how it was a franchise that began on PS1.
Ape Escape, also beginning PS1, is getting its PS3 debut shown at TGS.
Maybe, and damn well hopefully, Syphon Filter 5, also from PS1, will be a special announcement for GC

on a side note, they should add Ape Escape to 'Heroes on the Move' - that would be sweet!
They just have to step it up from the PSP titles. Hopefully they still have the talent to recreate the charm of the older ones.
This is seriously the only reason I would buy a PS Move. Granted, it is a very very big reason for me to buy it - because the very idea of playing Ape Escape with a Wiim... Move sounds amazing!
Ape Escape is So Freaking Huge, almost incredible, I can't Wait to Play, it's gonna be a Total blast...

Japan Studio isn't what it used to be but if/ with the Astro's Playroom team behind it there's no reason they wouldn't make a killer game that could be as innovative as the first two games were.
A new Ape Escape would be a very welcome return to Playstation.
Would definitely be cool to see this series make a comeback but I'd say the chances are slim to none unfortunantly.
But if they actually made it, it would come out and everyone on here who said they wanted it would be like "it looks kinda meh, probably not worth $70, I'll wait and buy it used." Then they'd go play a live service game and keep complaining about how too many games are live service games now.
Feels perfect for VR, swinging your virtual net at those crazy monkeys... then whatever other creative contraptions they can come up w that cater towards increased immersion.
Astrobot already showed how amazing VR platformers can be. I feel Ape Escape could showcase it in a new and equally exciting way!
