VGChartz's Paul Broussard: "It was quite a year for action titles, with a number of solid showings all-round, from more well-established AAA titles to smaller, indie IPs trying to make their mark on the scene. Fittingly, our shortlist has both, with God of War: Ragnarök and Bayonetta 3 representing two of the most famous action series in gaming, and Vampire Survivors checking in as a new indie rep looking to establish itself. Rounding out the list are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, back from the arcade to once again grace our TVs. But just like in a fight, only one can walk away victorious."
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge is no stranger to physical releases. Both Limited Run and Merge/Signature Editions have physical published their own physical editions already. Now Merge has announced TMNT: Shredder's Revenge Anniversary Edition, which will bundle the game with the recently released "Dimension Shellshock" DLC. These Anniversary Editions are coming for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Switch," says Co-Optimus.
"The "Dimension Shellshock" DLC for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge recently arrived on console and PC, adding new playable characters, an addictive co-op survival mode, and more. To learn more about the decision-making and co-op balance behind both the main game and "Dimension Shellshock," we spoke with Frederic Gemus, Game Designer at Tribute Games," says Co-Optimus.
From God of War, Demon's Souls, and Final Fantasy 16, these are the best action games on PS5 you can play right now.
Waiting for Ragnarök to come to PC so for for me it's Bayonetta 3 all the way. Incredible game with so many weapons and upgrades to choose from will be playing for many years. Hopefully on better hardware sooner rather than later!
