Neil writes: "Hundreds of new songs have arrived in DJMAX RESPECT V, building out the base game considerably."
Dave writes: "DJMAX RESPECT V is glossy and fully featured, it doesn’t have it where it counts: in its songs, and how well they are mapped."
This review is hilarious and clearly comes from somebody who has never played a DJ Max, Beatmania or any form of Bemani game in the decades that they've been around. I can pretty much assume he played on 4 button normal.
Comparing it to the cheap knockoff Musynx (also good, but come on) is almost a sin as well lol. Almost like saying Rock Revolution is a better game than Rock Band and then cherrypicking reasons why that's the case.
This right here is the exact reason why nobody trusts game reviewers that review *everything*. The way he glosses over the online multiplayer aspect in a paragraph hurt me a bit too lol there really hasn't been a great online multiplayer competitive rhythm game (beyond RB and GH) since Amplitude on the PS2.
DJ Max Respect V is truthfully the best DJM game yet and if you're into rhythm games - which this guy clearly isnt - i promise it'll be up your alley and you'll sink hundreds of hours into it.
Rocky Studio and Riot Games will be collaborating to bring two tracks from League of Legends to DJMAX Respect V on PC-via Steam for free.
