From Wired: "DESPITE GAME STUDIOS investing in accessibility teams and design practices for their games, Microsoft’s Xbox Adaptive Controller has been the only first-party accessible game controller available. Until now, that is, with Sony’s announcement of Project Leonardo for the PlayStation, a split-design controller designed with accessibility and customization in mind.
While many PlayStation games offer extensive accessibility features, the company’s accessible hardware options have been noticeably lacking, meaning that some physically disabled players couldn’t experience those award-winning worlds or their award-winning features, which makes Project Leonardo, Sony’s codename for the device, even more important. WIRED spoke with PlayStation president and CEO Jim Ryan to discuss the importance of accessibility and how Project Leonardo aims to reinforce the company’s commitment to disabled players."
Former PlayStation boss Shuhei Yoshida claims PlayStation still believes Xbox is their only true competitor, not Nintendo.
True, they have pretty different audiences..and some People just have both at home or a PS and a PC that emulates more or less everything from Nintendo.
Xbox hasn't been a competitor since the XB360. Last generation and this generation Sony has been running circles around Xbox. As for Sony vs Nintendo Sony runs circles yes but I don't really see Nintendo as competition. Nintendo does their own thing and it works.
microsoft wanted to crush sony into dust and they had the money to do it, but with such weak leadership it was always going to fail
