Switch owners can take advantage of the latest SEGA / Atlus sale on the eShop for June 2024, which includes the lowest price ever for Sonic Frontiers. A bunch of other titles are also discounted.
A new patch for Sonic Frontiers resolves the game's controversial difficulties and many other polarizing elements.
it doesn't
It's maybe the first mainline Sonic game I didn't buy on release day. I finally bought it on the newest discount on Steam, but I'm thinking I should have waited for a bigger discount. It does feel like it's not really a Sonic game, that it's a "Sonic gets modded in another game" kind of thing. Like Sonic CD failed before in mixing Sonic with exploration, I don't think this game got it, either. But let's see if my opinion changes with more hours of gameplay.
