Right, this title is misleading. It wasn't banned for being too realistic, it was banned because of the ability to import the likeness of any real person into the game. The article shows Violet from the Incredibles as a sexbot, so that alone was basically fantasized cartoon pedophilia, as Violet is like 14 years old in the movie. I don't think it would have been banned if it was just the game's base models, it's the ability to import models that is the problem. Also, it gives the ability to screw famous movie stars, or even an uploaded likeness of your neighbor's mom. (or grandma?) Steam doesn't want to get stuck on the wrong side of the law, or having to police what is uploaded.

F@#k i'll say why i disagree. This hurts literally no one, it's all fake assets made in a virtual space. And maybe if given an outlet like this, it would prevent real world acts. I could be wrong, and if steam wants it off their store i got no disagreement with that. But doing something in a virtual space does not mean you're "into" doing it in real life either, otherwise we'd all be gun toting murderers. If you want them to "receive a visit" for what they do virtually, what does that say about the potential millions of killings you've done virtually over the years? Cp is unforgivable, i think anyone who has any part in it deserves to be put away for life no question. You can download the demo on various sites. It is indeed an excellent game. Worth buying but unfortunately it's subscription based. What I find ridiculous is that the same can be done with honey select 2. There are plenty of cards with famous actresses like Jennifer Lawrence and jlo to anyone else you can think of. Though HS is more on the cartoon side it should make little to no difference just because vam looks more realistic. Steam can be such prudes. The official release of VAM 2.0 is coming out sometime next year and it will use the latest genesis models (8, 9, etc) along with a lot of improvements. Banning the game over mods would be ridiculous. They haven't banned Skyrim/Fallout yet and that game has the same thing. Celebrity mods get posted on Nexus every now and then, and you also have the sex animation mods that you can put them in. If you have Skyrim VR you can do probably about the same thing as VaM.
