Is anyone surprised by this? Thus is the trend of PS5 to PC.

If you told me this 7 years ago..i would laugh your ass off. Lol. Who would have thought eh..

TimmyTesticles59d ago

I'm surprised that I'm not surprised if that's any consolation

The fast porting time to PC relative to other PS exclusives indicates to me that ... Factions is close.

JEECE58d ago

I'm not surprised that certain people are pretending like this PC version that we already knew about was just announced.

This was already announced - the new part is the date.

Sony announced more PC games at TGA than PS games. How times have changed.

Have those games not already released on playstation?

Doesn't Sony have a ton they are not showing?

Your stick is boring, every single article lol your like the plague around here, constant thinly veiled shots.

3rd game in the the series - a plagues tale: orchard.

But yes Sony playing smart business keeping games exclusive enough to give people a reason to own the console then when the game is old news, release it and sell a few more millions copies for easy money.

“ Have those games not already released on playstation?

Doesn't Sony have a ton they are not showing? ”

Yes and yes - do either of those statements invalidate or contradict what I wrote? Nope.

“Your stick is boring, every single article”

I comment as I approve articles. No one has a gun to your head forcing you to read my comments. Feel free to move along.

And yes, I agree, I’ve said it time and time again - it’s a very smart business move to release on PC nowadays.

This site is funny though.
In about two years I've seen this site go from "Sony would never put their games on PC. It would hurt the image of the console" to "Okay. Maybe they'll put their old PS4 games on PC for a little more profit; but it won't be their staple games" to "Okay, maybe some PS5 games; but the true heavy hitters like God of War and, especially, Spiderman will never be on PC". Now it's just being hopeful there's a year's window between console and PC release, I guess making the game "old news" now, though these are supposedly timeless classics people should play time and time again, years after the fact.

I've been calling this pretty much since the beginning; we're getting closer and closer to what I believe to be a 3 - 6 month exclusivity Window if not day one for some titles.

As mainly a PC gamer, consoles are becoming 100% irrelevant to me. Unless I'm traveling, I don't see the point in owning them anymore.

Madlad

What your talking about was probably a few posters on here that said that before and generalizing it as the whole sony base has said that, me personally i dont care playstation still makes better games, and most console gamers wont jump to pc cause sonys putting their games on it.

'Sony announced more PC games at TGA than PS games.'.

Did they?

If TLOU was already announced, then was Returnal for PC announced at GTA? Any others?

XxINFERNUSxX59d ago

I'm just surprised at the date I thought it would have been sometime in Jan. 2023 🤨

JEECE58d ago

Yeah I guess they were thinking "get it out by the end of the HBO show's run" rather than the premiere.

XxINFERNUSxX58d ago

That could be it to, TLOU comes out on HBO Jan. 15. I thought it would have been better to release it at around the same time.😊

shinoff218359d ago

One of my favorite games and I've been gaming since 1988. Glad PC only people get a chance to play it if they haven't already.

honkler3259d ago

Still no Bloodborne though😤

MadLad59d ago

Would be surprised we'll see a port without an actual remake.

lonewolf1059d ago

If they do a remake like Demon's for Playstation then there is a chance of it coming to PC, now if only they would bring that DS remake over to PC.
