Cyberpunk 2077: KWE (Kinda Working Edition)

DigitallyAfflicted63d ago

Let’s be honest here it’s just “finished game edition” and it should be a free patch

Was Cyberpunk ever a “game of the year”?

Maybe they should call it "Complete Edition" instead of GOTY....just my opinion. I played through on PS5 after it was all patched up, and thoroughly enjoyed it and had almost no issues whatsoever. But calling it goty is a bit cheeky.

Not a bad suggestion, honestly. I had a ton of fun with the game. Even on release. But it was a busted half baked mess until fairly recently. May argue it still is in some ways. Never be game of any year I think.

That was my first thought too. Game of the Year is quite a stretch. After the fixes, the game can be enjoyed (albeit, not perfect).... but game of the year... yeaa.....

Agree with you, because I can't remember them winning a game of the year award. I played it this year, with the release of the next gen patch and loved it, so I didn't experienced those horrible bugs, just some here and there.

CobraKai63d ago

Neither can I. I liked it, but I never read or heard Cyberpunk being a GOTY contender.

I remember it being nominated for RPG of the year.

Game of the Year? 😂

How about “The Rest of it Edition”

lololol "The Rest of it Edition"

Good one!

They shot themselves in the foot now being honest about the state of the game at launch and just treat it as an early access game at a somewhat lower price.

The blowback would have been far less.

anast63d ago

This is a good idea. Imagine if BG3 released as a finished game.

Was really hoping the current spike in sales or the eventual sales from the dlc will get them to reconsider another major dlc.
