Need for Speed Unbound Review by Video Chums

“Need for Speed Unbound is a fun racer with some new event types and an unusual yet undeniably attractive visual style. However, it doesn't do a ton to set itself apart from other racers that are currently out there and its story mode can be quite limiting.” - Mary Billington from Video Chums.

*Me keeping my car at a lower tier because moving it up would actually result in less cash*

Driving is fine, but the story mode is more management than necessary.

Agreed - having to upgrade while gauging risk/reward, especially when the cops can take your hard-earned cash ends up being quite a pain for the most part.

Need for Speed Unbound races onto Amazon Luna cloud gaming service

Luna+ subscribers can stream Criterion’s open-world arcade racer on Amazon’s cloud gaming service.

There’s no way the Luna player base is more than 50,000 people. I’d love to see their numbers

Need for Speed will return in “new and interesting ways,” says EA

Support for Need for Speed Unbound has ended as Criterion focuses on the new Battlefield.

RaidenBlack135d ago

Plz no live service only NFS.
You already tried that with the reboot which was online only.

FinalFantasyFanatic134d ago

I can totally see them doing that again.

Just give me Underground 2 remastered

Fonsecap134d ago

Don't known if you're aware, but there is a modding team remastering the game in unreal engine 5, look for it it's looking good.

ApocalypseShadow135d ago

But no Burnout since you bought the competition to kill their game. And what's left of Criterion who stayed, were put to make your game need for speed. Don't care what ways it comes back. It's EA. No buy.

CosmicTurtle135d ago

They bought Criterion for their middleware engine Renderware I believe. But the studio was a bonus.

Burnout and Motorstorm were by far the best arcade racers. Forza Horizon is up there too.

Need For Speed is like that guy you used to kinda be friends with in high school who’s now a broke homeless drug addict but you still nod when you walk by, hoping he’ll get better. But he never will

TheColbertinator135d ago

I enjoyed NFS Heat but they never built properly on that.

When to expect a great one should be the question. Must be 15 years

Dandalandan117155d ago

Why can't they just give fans what they want?
Remake NFSU, NFSU2, or the original Most Wanted.
Or what about a new Burnout game perhaps?

Deathtracker155d ago

We've been waiting for these remakes since, like, forever.

badboyz09155d ago

I'll wait for Midnight Club😁

The_Hooligan154d ago

Same. They should remaster the trilogy. I'll buy it day 1. I still have all three for the PS2.

Michiel1989154d ago
