Marvel's Midnight Suns is an expansive tactical RPG that makes great use of card game mechanics to inject variety and unpredictability into its excellent combat.
I use to try Gamefly years ago but it would never have those newly release games available that I would want to rent. I don't even bother I just buy any game that I want to play when it's released day one so I can take my sweet time to play.
You have to clear your que before the day of release if you really want that game the following days. I got GoW 2022 and every other game I really needed to play a day after it's release using this method.
I hear you. I don't bother with Gamefly knowing any game that I'm interested in playing I have absolutely no problem purchasing to own no matter the price. That way I don't have to worry about a queue & I can play the game as long as I want because I own it.
I am so stoked for this. I get that most of the negativity comes from the goofy banter back at the base and the story not being anything truly compelling or original, but honestly, from what I've seen they're not that bad.
The gameplay though, now that's the real meat and potatoes and I can't wait to play it!
Y'know, it's surprising how well the year is ending with releases. God of War: Ragnarok, Callisto Protocol, to games like Midnight Suns and Front Mission 1st Remake. Not a bad way to begin the insane jump into 2023 where literally every month is something huge coming out.
Just to put it in perspective 2023 has the following games just off the top of my head: Forspoken, Dead Space Remake, Fire Emblem Engage, Resident Evil 4 Remake, new Yakuza game, Final Fantasy 16, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and the new Zelda... I mean... wow, lol.
Nice, I'll pick it up eventually. Didn't know this was coming out so soon. If it really is 70 hours that will most likely mean I won't ever finish it but I'm still excited to play lol we need more marvel rpgs !
I have all the faith in the world from this developer. Xcom is one of my favorite series. I'm not to thrilled about the card mechanic but I'm sure they've done a good job with it. Only bad thing is that I don't have the 60 70 dollars to get it day one. With 4 kids and Christmas around the corner I'm tapped out.
Not a big super hero guy but tactics games I enjoy . The card aspect sounds well done. I she liked it in some games and hated it in others so we will see but I’ll grab it eventually
Should be able to get one but with Christmas coming up may be a little harder. I’ve seen them available many times if you look online Target Best Buy Amazon Wal Mart and PlayStation Direct . It doesn’t take that much effort just need to look online in the morning when stock is available
Yeah, I live in Norway unfortunately, it has been impossible to get a PS5 at normal price here since launch basically. You could import one at a premium, but I refuse, really shouldn't be necessary...
A marvel tactics game...sign me up. Looks like I'm going to have to upgrade my Gamefly account to allow more than one rental at a time.

8? This seems last gen and every aspect. And very dated...
