My only complaints is that if you're a PS+ essential user you can renew your PS+ essential with a 25% rebate, you can also upgrade your tier with a 25% rebate.
But if you're a PS+ premium user (like me) you can only get the renewal deal for the premium tier.
So basically you have to pay full price if you want to downgrade at the membership expiration date.

Personally, contrary to the extra tier, the premium tier has been a huge letdown with no sign from Sony to improve that aspect.
1) Sony is not releasing PS1 or PSP games anymore (and the PS2 games are now released as streaming only PS3 titles) and they basically killed the suposed exclusives PS premium demos. Now I don't give a crap about some exclusives demo but I do care about playing PSP titles.

So now I'm forced to wait till february to downgrade at PS+ essential for full price or benefit a discount by for something that is currently lacking.

When I look at Premium over Extra, you seem to be getting a lot of extra content at minimal additional cost.
Still, I haven'tgot time to play all that so will just snag an Extra extension at 25% off.

And if you are essential and you want to upgrade to a higher tier you can't do it for a month or a year you'll have to do it for your whole subscription. FFS Sony. Let me try it for a month maybe I'll keep it. I'm just going to stick with essential.

FinalFantasyFanatic562d ago (Edited 562d ago )

It really should have been 2 tiers instead of 3, still really pissed that we haven't seen anymore PS1 or PSP games added in recent months, so glad I stuck with essential. I'm going to add another year of essential on top of my current subscription while it's cheap, I'll then add another year when they have another sale on subscriptions next year.

Off topic. No excuses. Anyone who needs a PS5 go to Best Buy right now. Local store had 5 pallets of consoles. Walked in walked out with a GOW R bundle for my youngest an hour ago. $559 USD. No online orders, in-store pick up only

Good to see supply finally meeting demand!

Probably the answer I already know... the big game here is AEW. Is it any good?

Evil-Gouki2d ago

Recent reviews: mostly negative

VincentVanBro2d ago

Maybe for you mate lol Streets of Rage 4 is a banger, especially with 4 friends in couch co-op. And SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is a great platformer. AEW is very poorly rated though.

P_Bomb2d ago

I platinumed it. It’s alright tbh, but you gotta be a fan going in. Know the peeps.

I've been playing... it's below average. No Mercy still has a better career mode.

Worst month for awhile for me. No downloads. SpongeBob...seriously?!

GhostMirror2d ago

Streets of Rage 4 is fantastic, for anyone who hasn’t played it yet. I bought a copy of it when it came out; first [and last] time I ever pre-ordered a game from Limited Run. It’s a must play for any fan of beat ‘em ups.

qalpha2d ago

I'm really confused. My June PS Plus games show God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl

GhostMirror2d ago (Edited 2d ago )

Err.. you’ve encountered quite the glitch there. I copied “June PS Plus games show God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl” from your post and learned that those were the free PS Plus games from June 2022. https://blog.playstation.co...

qalpha2d ago

Oops. Thanks for clearing that up. Even now, when I click on it, it takes me to June 2022. Nobody else is being directed there? I must have a wierd cache glitch or something (in addition to being oblivious to which year I'm living in).

It's Sims 4: City Living. May be in the minority but this seems like fucking clickbait yet again. Could give the title of the game in the headlines but choose not to.

hombreacabado21d ago

i clicked it like a dumb ass not knowing it was a sims 4 dlc. not my cup of tea.

OtterX21d ago

Next time check out the tag underneath. ;)

Skuletor21d ago

It's not really free either, since it's provided as part of a paid service.

Luc2021d ago

Thank you for your sacrifice.

mastershredder21d ago

The Sims? This is actually a title for people that just started dating a gamer or befriended a gamer or group of gamers, bought a console or PC and want to look like they enjoy playing video games by leaving this crap running in the background. Look, not one buys or plays this Sims crap (except for the console-store newb and clueless demographic). They try to sell discount it ALL the time. No wonder it's free. Essential? About as essential as stepping in dog dookie.

gold_drake21d ago

there are quite a few people who play and enjoy these games.
its not for you to dictate what people enjoy or not.

dont like it, dont download it.

MestreRothN4G21d ago

You’re so absolutely clueless, even in the subject you think you understand. Such amazing ignorance

BrettAwesome21d ago

It plays like sh1t on consoles too

Nacho_Z21d ago

Loved Sims 3, couldn't stand Sims 4. Seems like the next game is closer to 3 than 4 thankfully.
