I never did beat any of the pre-SOTN Castlevania games fair and square - except for Rondo of Blood. You could technically say I beat Castlevania IV as well, but that involved a lot of password abuse to skip right to the stage I couldn't beat, and played it till I finally beat it. I'd like to think that my skills have improved over the years, and I'm a better gamer now, but still, I'd consider my skills average at best. Why am I telling you this? Its the first Castlevina game I ever played and I loved it from beginning to end. Shona is became my 2nd favorite female herione/character of all time next to RE3 Jill Valentine(My 1st Favorite and God I hope she doesnt really die in RE5).

I wish Konami was smart and would release some of these Castlevania games on the downloadable networks. Give us gamers who don't like handhelds and chance to play these games.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, Steam reviews are very positive 9/10. I'm going to buy it for Switch though. I want to also play on the go, and at work :D

Yeah I'm REALLY loving what little I've played of it so far and this is coming from someone who hasn't been too impressed with what has been shown of the game, guess metroidvania plays better than they look.
