Sony will reportedly offer 25% off PlayStation Plus subscriptions for Black Friday

Customers looking to pick up a new PlayStation Plus subscription should probably hold out until later this month, when Sony is expected to offer a significant discount on memberships.

25% is something but it's not a lot. When the new PS Plus started and I was (and am) enrolled in the full service I had the option to buy another year of PS Plus Premium for £50. I wish I took it!

So many great PS5 games are included in Playstation Plus Extra: Returnal, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, Stray, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Control: Ultimate Edition, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Death Stranding Director's Cut, Deathloop, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Demon's Souls etc.

Noice. That's solid. I don't currently have psn as uncharted 4 was the only mp game I played. I have gamepass ultimate but at the moment its dead for me. I like that it has day and date. If sony goes day and date... it will absolutely crush it.

Of course Ps plus would crush it day and date. Their exclusives are actually good...sony knows this so it stands to reason there is a really good business decision for not including the on day1. Everyone knows this.

I don't really game on Playstation much anymore but cd keys used to have 50% off subscription prices regularly before. Not sure if that's still the case but I recall sony would do that as well.

For black Friday, it's a crap deal tbh. They decided to cut the higher discounts when they merged services it looks like.

Take my advice and keep an eye on CDKeys for 50%+ off or simply wait for Xmass discounts.

25% is good, but 50% is even better.

CD Keys have a 12-month essentials deal for $50.74 which you can get on PSN for $44.99 this Friday. I don't see any PS Plus tiers on CD Keys just the essential tier.

It will stack. But only do one year as this sale will happen at Days of Play in the Summer for maybe a bigger discount.

The problem for me with PlayStation Plus is Sony doesn't make enough first party multiplayer games to make it worth it for me to keep subscribing and most of the great online games like Fortnite, Apex, Destiny, Warframe, etc are free to play which doesn't require PS Plus to play online anyway.

I mean Sony owns Bungie, the creator of Destiny 1 and Destiny 2. So at least they have that.

Destiny 2 is free to play. Plus isn't required to play that online.
