New features, gorgeous presentation, and a stone-cold classic in the middle? Yeah, Tactics Ogre: Reborn is essential.
WTMG's Thomas Medina: "For my money, Tactics Ogre: Reborn is the best version of the game to play. It’s the best looking and sounding version for sure. The soundtrack is especially a masterpiece. There’s also been plenty of tweaks and adjustments to the gameplay, all for the better in my opinion. It balances things out, adds new depth to minute to minute gameplay, and cuts down on grinding. That being said however, I can’t help but feel this is a game that time has passed by. It feels like a product of its time, with newer games doing the same things, but better. Especially Triangle Strategy, a game I now recognize takes a lot of cues from this title. It’s still a good game, and worth playing for people curious about the history of the genre. Beyond that however, I just don’t see the hype. "
Daily Video Game writes: "Today, Amazon has just launched a new game sale that steeply discounts several Square Enix and Bandai Namco games, including recently released titles such as Tactics Ogre: Reborn, Star Ocean The Divine Force, and more across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch right now!"
Tactics Ogre: Reborn is discussed by producer Kato Hiroaki, director Katano Takashi, and lead game designer Takahashi Naoyuki.
