God of War Ragnarok Trophy List Revealed

God of War Ragnarok has a total of 36 Trophies (1 Platinum, 4 Gold, 15 Silver, 16 Bronze). The boss names have been redacted to avoid spoilers. Thanks to PowerPyx for providing the list.

There are no difficulty-related trophies, meaning you can do everything on the easiest difficulty. The list looks mostly completion-based with a mix of story trophies, side quests, and collectibles.

I will platinum this one, just like it's predecessor.

ClayRules2012933d ago

You go, Sully! I will not platinum this one, much like it’s predecessor lol.

SullysCigar932d ago

Lol yeah, I'm pretty proud of that plat, because Sigrun kicked my arse A LOT, yet I didn't bite a single controller in half. I'm so grown up now...

ClayRules2012932d ago

Props to you. You got your butt kicked “A LOT”, but maintained patience, didn’t bite a controller in half, not one, you really are grown up now… You’re worthy to wield Thor’s hammer now.

Just please, if you take Mjölnir I’d like the Axe, I would look pretty cool with it, I think haha.

Oh did you hear, No photo mode until a later date for the game? I’m actually glad about that, I won’t be itching to go into the mode with it not being available. And I won’t annoy the wife lol.

SullysCigar932d ago

Lol yeah, photo modes are way too addictive. My nephew spent a solid hour taking photos in Horizon Forbidden West when I was at his place last week.

Now I love doing that myself, but it's less fun watching someone else do it. Just show me your damn pics AFTER - that will take just 5mins of my life!

ClayRules2012932d ago

Lol, that sounds rough. To sit and watch the nephew take the photos for a solid hour, that’d be difficult. I don’t see that as fun, but yeah, taking them for yourself is fun.

Hopefully next time the photos will be taken and you’ll only lose 5 mins of your life ha!

Pedantic91933d ago

Unfortunate, sounds like they were afraid to challange anyone. And i assume of course making money had a factor in this, to reach the largest pool of players/trophy hunterrs possible.

All Sony 1st party games have had easier platinum trophies for a while now. It seems to be a side effect of their accessibility and inclusivity goals

Crows90932d ago

Yup. Bad side effect in my opinion.

Crows90932d ago

1st party Sony games are easy to plat lately. It's probably for accessibility reasons.

SyntheticForm932d ago

I respect the hell out of anyone who platinumed Uncharted 4.

monkey602932d ago

Ha I missed the speed run by 3 mins my first time trying. Had to go back to a halfway save and make sure I shaved them off on my 2nd. I dont think it was a difficult plat though

well... its not quite what I was expecting but still nice they honor the spartan.

VenomUK73d ago

What an absolute half-hearted and shoddy way for Sony to commemorate the epic God of War series. A few alternative skins and the option to buy t-shirts or vinyl. It would have been better to not have any celebration. Abysmal.

No offense Sony… but nobody is playing God of war ragnarok in 2025…

andy8573d ago

Every month in 2025 God of War Ragnarok has had more steam users than Starfield.

Inverno73d ago

Bruv I'm pretty there are more people playing literally anything BUT Starfield.

Profchaos73d ago

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if there was more people playing bubsy 3d than starfield

Profchaos73d ago

Yeah no one at all especially when it just became available to the millions of PS plus subscribers

PanicMechanic73d ago (Edited 73d ago )

Maybe it’s because I sold my Ps5 last year and built a new PC. But ragnarok I finished in 2022 when it released. Don’t have any motivation to replay.

Profchaos73d ago (Edited 73d ago )

It would have been nice to have a PS plus drop of the ps2 original though I get that

Cacabunga73d ago

I actually installed it again today to try the latest roguelite DLC. Costumes is a nice addition but def expected something else.

Killer2020UK73d ago

Mate, I only started playing the previous one. It holds up unbelievably well considering it was a PS4 release

Chard72d ago

Not everybody buys and plays games during the launch window

BISHOP-BRASIL72d ago

I just finished it last week. You don't speak for everyone.

Damn Sony
You keep on remastering recent games and yet choose not to for a franchise that's celebrating it's 20 years?
I'm sure a lot of old and new fans would appreciate being able to play the entire saga using their current gen consoles.

Shane Kim73d ago (Edited 73d ago )

Sure but that would require to actually remaster. Not selling the same game from last gen in a new box and call it remaster.

Profchaos73d ago

I admit I got a bit swept up in thinking we would get a PS classics drop of the first game on PS plus not a remaster or anything just running under the new ps2 emulator id be.halpy with that or the PSP games that deserve more praise really

New in-game content incentives coming to PlayStation games on PC

Playstation writes: "Starting with tomorrow’s release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PC, we’re working to add more benefits to playing with an account for PlayStation Network. The Last of Us Part II Remastered (coming April 3, 2025), in addition to God of War Ragnarök and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, will all soon be adding in-game content unlocks for PlayStation Network account users.

An account for PlayStation Network will become optional for these titles on PC. Players who still opt to sign into a PlayStation Network account will also enjoy added benefits like trophies and friend management."
