The God of War Ragnarok preload has kicked off today for those buying the digital version o the game.
Some of the best PS5 games are exclusives like God of War Ragnarok and Astro Bot, but there are some indie highlights as well.
The festivities also include new 20th anniversary merch, a fan kit, and more.
No offense Sony… but nobody is playing God of war ragnarok in 2025…
Damn Sony
You keep on remastering recent games and yet choose not to for a franchise that's celebrating it's 20 years?
I'm sure a lot of old and new fans would appreciate being able to play the entire saga using their current gen consoles.
I admit I got a bit swept up in thinking we would get a PS classics drop of the first game on PS plus not a remaster or anything just running under the new ps2 emulator id be.halpy with that or the PSP games that deserve more praise really
Playstation writes: "Starting with tomorrow’s release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PC, we’re working to add more benefits to playing with an account for PlayStation Network. The Last of Us Part II Remastered (coming April 3, 2025), in addition to God of War Ragnarök and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, will all soon be adding in-game content unlocks for PlayStation Network account users.
An account for PlayStation Network will become optional for these titles on PC. Players who still opt to sign into a PlayStation Network account will also enjoy added benefits like trophies and friend management."
Good move considering the size of this game, especially for people with weaker internet speed
In New Zealand. I assume it’ll start in North American regions around 9-12pm. Although I read somewhere it will start 4 days before launch. So possibly Friday or Saturday? Guess we’ll see.
Dope.
OTI just started Star Ocean and really loving it so far . It’s really good with Japanese voices imo.
On topic I’ll play GoW and Star Ocean for the next couple months at least .
If I buy it only a few hours before midnight, will it still count as a pre-order, and could I still pre-download it?
Cant wait to play this. Gonna need to practice lots of self restraint. I cant afford the $70 new games.
