Last month, Sega published their debut PS3 RPG in North America. Entitled Valkyria Chronicles, this Strategy RPG has gameplay elements that are unique to the genre, and some impressive visuals to go with it.

Valkyria Chronicles(the first 3D Advance Wars...imo). Its just sad Sony doesnt market their own games properly.

Why would Sony market a game SEGA developed and published? Sony already helped out by giving the game some advert space on their numerous websites and featuring it more than once on the PS Blog.

Almost as big as White Knight Chronicles which Famitsu -- JRPG experts -- gave the lowest score of the generation, 29/40.

I'm kinda skeptical about buying the game because it doesn't has any kind of exploration like a normal RPG, it's all mission based and I don't like that.

True, but its so much more fun than normal strategy RPG games because of how you move your units. I would say rent it to see because it is so much more fun than other SRPG games.

thats exactly what Happened to me..I started playing Valkyria before Persona 4 came out...

But I have put most games except LBP , R2 & Socom on hold..because of Persona 4

VC is an amazing game. Go get it if you are into SRPG's, as it is a must own.

This is so much more fun than any other SRPG game. Even if you like RPGs in general, at least rent it to see what it is like.

i must say i was really impressed by this game. when i played the demo i was like "mäh its ok but i wouldnt buy it". Than i finaly got it for xmas and i must say its really awsome. it just feels so complete. its like everything fits into the game perfectly. very rewarding and a lot of fun.

I am usually not into RPGs, but I've always loved games like Advance Wars. This game looks awesome, and from what I saw in the demo, it has a deep storyline as well. If only I could afford it...

If there's one thing that's going to destroy video games it's that companies release games that are absolute crap but sell well because they have a comic book character, wrestler, or cartoon character on the front of them while other companies make games that are great that don't sell well for being something completely new.
