Sorry, I didn't really like this trailer. Made me feel like the game has no emotion and is all politics which didn't make any sense.

I'll take a story about love any day over a story about worshipping crystals or whatever the hell.

At least we saw Jill Warrick a couple of times grown up. It looked like she was captured in one of the scenes.

NOTE: I'm not saying the game is bad or anything, I just didn't really like the tone of this trailer but I think it's because they don't want to spoil anything major. Gameplay, graphics, all look amazing and it's day 1 for me. It looks way different that FF7 Remake and that's good. We don't want 2 Final Fantasies that are the same.

Also look at about 3:50 of the trailer, could that be Jill Warrick? If so she's a much angrier character than I thought.

Interesting since if you watch some of the earlier trailers, she seems like a happy little girl who's friends with Clive and Joshua. Of course I'm not sure it's actually her.

This is gonna be so goddam epic, return to form for series since ffx in my eyes anyway, always thought ff7 remake was way overrated.

Creative business unit 3 is a great team and have done such a great job on ff14 and it's expansions I have no doubt they will crush this aswell

Final Fantasy VII Remake is the best thing happened to SE in a very long time together with FFXIV expansions.

Final Fantasy XVI seems to continue the good trend, and I'm calling it .. Final Fantasy is once again a game series people are and will talk alot about, just like they did between 1997 and 2001

Straight fire... Loving the visuals of these different locales! Always had full faith in this with Naoki Yoshida and his team behind it. Any doubters just watch the FF XIV three part documentary on YouTube. You will see why XVI is in such good hands. The man and his team actually deeply care about the games they make.

Damn this looks amazing. The world looks fantastic. The character models do look a little dated which surprises me given it's next gen only (oddly worse than FFXV). No worries about the story and gameplay though given Yoshida is in charge. Fast becoming my most anticipated of 2023

I'm not sold on this unfortunately. The game looks very MMO'ish to me; bare environments, uninspired costumes and the typical glowy stuff to make it pop a little bit. Also, what Lightning Mister Bubbles sorta said, I'd rather see a personal (love) story with lots of variable environments than this political plot. To me Final Fantasy was always about a small group of people traveling the world, making friends along the way, stumble upon hidden villages, etc. and I would just love to see that again.

Not unnecessarily hating on it, I just don't like any of what I saw, which sucks because I really want to be excited about a fresh Final Fantasy story again.

FF14 is political as well, but the story is also very, very good. Alot of the people that worked on FF Tactics and 14 are on this game, which I think is amazing.

And if we keep asking SE for a FF9 remake, you'll get that love story lol.
