Except wu long is much faster and has jumping as well as other difference. From what I played it feels different imo but if course its the same dev with same fomula with modification
No it is not much faster. Have you played Nioh 2? It even uses the same character creator. The only difference I am seeing so far is the jump button and setting, and extremely slightly different stamina/combat mechanics.
I will buy it as it is basically Nioh 3 but trying to pretend it isn't is weird.
@Robition yeah i have played it, platinum the 1st and literally got back on nioh 2 right after the demo and im not the only one saying wu has more mobility then nioh. It's also being more compared to sekiro then nioh. There's a difference I can feel it and see it. I also said its the same formula as nioh meaning it has elements of nioh(cas) just modified.
I really do love Nioh's combat and weapon variety BUT the lack of enemy variety really wore on me in both games. I hope Wo Long is better off in that area.
I’m glad they are staying true to their roots, even if it means likely being too difficult to play for some (me included). I love Souls games and wanted to enjoy Nioh 1, 2 more but they were just too damn hard for me lol
I’m glad you understand that there is room for all types of games even if they are too hard for some .
We have plenty of easy handholding games that point you to your exact destination without thinking at all and that can you can dumb down with difficulty slider so they basically sit there so there is no need to mess with the fewer games that offer some difficulty .
Buy something else is your answer !!
I plan on buying the game. Played some of the demo and uninstalled. I like action games not insane difficulty ones. I am for gamers, all gamers enjoying their games and difficulties as they see fit, not some trying to bash others who may want to play and enjoy these games just not want the uber difficulty. My view is devs should strive to get their games out to the most gamers possible on as many platforms possible.
Good. How the devs intended it. I always hate to have to choose a difficulty, the exception is if theres a unique hard mode unlocked for beating the game thats more than just a simple "We just buffed the enemies by another x percentage." Better ai, different patterns, different abilities etc to spice it up and keep it interesting.
Also, almost every game these days don't offer you incentives any more for harder difficulties. Trophies or better rewards for example so there's no real point of even going for normal mode and better to just go with the easiest unless you're just a hardcore that wants the challenge....with nothing to show for it unless you record your footage I guess. I mean when you compare a guy that platinumed the game with easy mode to a guy with hard mode, its....why? There's so much enjoyment in earning achievements that only a very small percentage of people also have. But when you have nothing that proves you did it legit.... it's meaningless.
It is quite a bold move business wise and devs that do this is what I appreciate the most. I'm sorry guys, just git gud or don't play the game. I mean fromsoft still does it, yet elden ring sold millions.
Sounds pretty cool and intriguing to me, I’ll keep an eye out for this game.
I've sunk 600 hours across Nioh 1 and 2, this very much feels like a Nioh to me, which can only be a good thing.
They shouldn’t even need to explain it.
Master Ninja difficulty
