From VGC: "Sony has added the first PlayStation Plus PS1 title in Europe with the option to switch region formats.
When the revamped PlayStation Plus launched in Europe this summer, several classic PlayStation games were discovered to be the 50Hz PAL versions, which run 20% slower than the NTSC 60hz versions used in the US and other regions.
At the time, Sony responded to criticism from some users by claiming that the option to switch to 60Hz was on the way. Three months later, this feature has arrived with Monday’s addition of Syphon Filter 2."

SEGA and Lizardcube reveal stunning Neo City gameplay footage for their upcoming action platformer, SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance, launching August 29 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Switch.
Pretty excited for this the art style I wish was slightly more distinct that Streets of rage but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love some Shinobi.

IGN - "This blacksmithing action RPG doesn’t forge a sharp enough edge."
Cool game so far from the demo. I can sense repetitive gameplay being a fate for this title, but for me thats okay. I just like hitting things.
IGN isn't scared of 505. They aren't worried about not getting free copies from them. So, they probably gave them an actual score.
Nice feature
I'm happy they listened here. I have the hight their so I could play some classics now I just need them to add some more games.
The outrage is now a thing of the past.
After reading the article I'm still scratching my head at how it works. Surely it can't be that the game is sped up ; all sounds would be wrong. Then maybe they just include two games in one and the option allows to switch between the two ? But then language would be affected (as US versions don't provide all european languages).
