Here we have the Eiyuden Chronicle update for August 2022. We get a monster reveal, game images, words from the team, and a game trailer.

Ubisoft litters their games with garbage collectibles like tapes, pieces of pottery or document folders like anybody cares. 4 hours of sidequests to put an old jar together.
The hell!? This is maybe one of the best love letters to the golden age of JRPGs.
Thats the problem. Not with the game. But the reviewer. As soon as you see "Nothing gamebreaking" or "nothing new to the genre" or anything like that, you already know the reviewer doesnt know how to not compare the game to other games when writing a review. If you cant judge the game on its own standing, and make a score for that game. Its not worth reading.
Bash it for it's terrible localisation, sure, but everything else is solid gold, it goes back to the golden days of Suikoden.
Another reviewer who doesn't get who this game is for. Tons of unique characters in a deeply lore rich world but the gaming press wants more microtransactions and online modes full of boring customized skins.
If you were hoping to play Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes in 2023, unfortunately, you'll have to revise that expectation, as the game has been delayed.
They made the right call! Make sure it is finished when you release it. I'll buy it, and hopefully millions of others will do so too.
Yes, I enjoyed Rising so I want HH to be the best it can be. Please take your time and get it right.
Might be good news if you are waiting for the Suikoden remastered games. I'm hoping for a September/October release.

I can't wait for Ys X, I don't think it will be localized this year however. Hopefully Q1 2024.

The Dev has $ issues I’m hoping this game helps them back out of the funk. I love Steins Gate.
Most definitely! They really put alot of money into this which includes an English dub so I hope the western release proves to be successful!
