The Last of Us Part 1's Trophy List Leaked and It's Far Easier than the Original

The Last of Us Part 1’s trophy list has appeared online ahead of the game’s release on September 2 and it appears to be much easier than the original.

Well half of the trophies were tied to the multiplayer in the originals.

Plus requiring players to beat the game 3 times on ever increasing difficulty. That alone sucked.

The extra multiplayer trophies (outside the base list) are what boosted my percentage in the Remastered version. lol.

I refuse to play through the whole game checking a guide on my phone to find all the collectibles and optional conversations - it just takes you out of the experience and it isn't fun for me or, I think, most people. There's a reason the average trophy percentage is so low even though the game has a good completion rate.

i usually always play through the game naturally, way more fun and rewarding that way - try to explore everywhere to get collectibles etc, once finished ill look at trophies and any locations for stuff ive missed, usually only a handful so you can generally speedrun through to mop up

Same with me, I totally doesn't care about trophies in TLOU on PS3 and have a very good time enjoying the game. Trying to platinum a game is like a chore, it's take the fun out of it.

Doubt it, since those modes are included in the remake day one, not releasing later as DLC like the PS3 version did.

It's more that forcing people to play a game more than once isn't fun and many don't have the time for it. I for one am glad to see less games doing it.

If someone doesn't have time to play through a 13 hr game a second time then they shouldn't be trying to get the plat in the first place. How do you not have time to do a straight play through on a higher difficulty but you have time to search for every collectible? Make it make sense.

@kimbomma1 because it's unnecessary. Collectibles are different. To expect someone to play through the game and story they've just played through again is pointless.

Yep all games imo should be 1 playthrough for the platinum imo and have the mp as a separate trophy list all together

but it is supposed to be the "definitive" version. i played the original 3 times in a row and i had the multiplayer to enjoy after i was done with campaign. whats the point of this version if you gona touch it once and forget it almost immediately after

Nobody is forcing you to unlock the platinum trophy. Platinum trophies should be awarded to people that have mastered the game. There's no point in trophies if everyone can unlock them casually.

I'm just asking for a little bit of difficulty.. I'd settle with a beat the game on normal or higher.. but when someone can just switch on easy mode and still get the plat is me discouraging to even up the difficulty. I like difficulty trophies because it gives me a challenge and I at least have some sort of medal for it. Usually, the games with the difficulty trophies have mostly pain in the ass trophies, so I just pick a difficulty that is reasonable and won't bother with the platinum.

This "not everyone wants to do x" argument makes no sense. Trophies are exclusionary by design. They are meant as a reward for players, that achieved something that others didn't. Why are gamers, that don't like being challenged, interested in trophies to begin with?

Guys, earning a platinum trophy shouldn't be a walk in the park.

Regardless of how you feel, they could at the very least add difficulty trophies that are not required for the platinum.

Managed to get it for £55 in the UK. Shouldnt really pay anything after the resale when I'm done. I'm excited to play it now, hopefully it feels fresh as it's been 5 years since I did last.

Everybody wants participation trophies. Every game should have a hardest difficulty trophy.
