XIII - Gameplay trailer | PS5 Games

"Discover the new version of XIII with its new art direction, a better AI and numerous technical improvements like 60fps."

Whoa, they went back and fixed the art style?
Hope they squashed all the bugs as well.
Seems like a Re-release of a Re-make.

Spenok699d ago

They sure did. I want to see a comparison of the OG Remake and this.

fr0sty699d ago

Though, I gotta laugh at them saying "better AI" and then the video shows the player get behind a large gun turret and mow down row after row of enemies that just blindly run towards them.

Terry_B700d ago

Very nice. Kudos to the Devs.

MadLad700d ago

You have to give them credit for doing everything they could to redeem the horrible remake that was put out.

FreeckyCake699d ago

They're also bringing a major update to Steam in September, which is great.

Concertoine699d ago

Credit fully deserved, but i have to ask if its worth it at this point.

MadLad699d ago

It's likely not going pay back the money that the company dumped into this project, but they're doing right by the consumer.

But no.
There's probably few who care they're making these advances, and probably less who will actually buy it.

Dirty_Lemons699d ago

£8 on Amazon in the UK, even if it still sucks it's not much of a loss.

-Foxtrot699d ago

Okay this is something I would buy, huge improvement

I'm only giving them the benefit of the doubt because it's a different developer so it wasn't there fault the last developer screwed up.

I've gotta say, I did play the PS4 version day one and it was glitchy but I still found a little enjoyment. This looks really good though. Credit where it's due finally

XIII Review by Video Chums

“XIII is a linear first-person shooter with a neat graphical style that offers simple fun akin to a game that belongs in an arcade. However, FPS veterans may be put off due to its linearity and general lack of depth.” - Mary Billington from Video Chums.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
