Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is here and it's almost too good to be true

NE: "After a not so long wait since its announcement, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has arrived. Personally speaking, this is a very special game to me as it’s the third entry in what is probably my favorite franchise from Nintendo."

This game with next Gen graphics and animations would be... Well maybe when the switch pro or 2 comes it gets an upgrade

MadLad1057d ago

Few JRPGs even hit this level of fidelity, honestly.

jznrpg1057d ago (Edited 1057d ago )

Graphics are pretty good . I will see if they look better on my OLED TV or not .

But most importantly the game is fun and it has an interesting storyline .

I would also like to have a Switch Pro or whatever but it’s not guaranteed they port this to it . Possible sure .

But I am not waiting 2-4+ years to hope to play this very good game.

I know some people are used to and willing to wait for 5-10 years for a good game but tomorrow isn’t promised to you so I will play the good games now.

Game is really good so far . 2 was a bit disappointing although well made but I’m really into this one . It’s so good I actually thought of buying the OLED Switch but I don’t really want it. I’ll just hook it up to my TV at some point though I never play it as a console . Xenoblade 3 is so good it is changing my habits .

Am I missing out not playing Xenoblade 1 & 2? Or is this game entry level friendly?

LiViNgLeGaCY1057d ago

Very entry level friendly. It's a self contained story.

Zeldafan641057d ago

You'd get a lot more out of 3 if you played 1 and 2 beforehand but like others have said it's not vital.

Spenok1057d ago

ALL games these days are entry level friendly. Like most RPG's that share the same name as the games before them, they don't really connect.

As for XBC1 & 2, I'd suggest playing 1, skipping 2, and picking back up at 3. I was quite disappointed in 2.

It's funny, as it seems the series is taking the same path as Xenosaga in terms of game quality.

pietro12121056d ago

All of them are self contained stories, but 3 does reference part 2 a bit towards ch. 5

The lead image for this article has Kirby and the Forgotten Land in it, however the update is not released until the 28th of August.

Asphalt legends unite is now a more stable / consistant 60fps on SW2 where it would drop frames constantly on SW1.

CDbiggen24d ago (Edited 24d ago )

Feels weird that a new console has launched and there's hardly any news about it on here. Not blaming this place, I haven't seen much news about it anywhere.

Neonridr23d ago

people are busy playing it. I was playing MK World all evening last night.

CDbiggen23d ago

That doesn't typically stop news.

Neonridr23d ago

@CDbiggen - I don't know what news you were hoping for. The system is a better Switch in every regard. Switch 1 games are running better on Switch 2 even without patches as reported by lots of outlets including DF.

It's not going to stop the world in its tracks though, for the first time it's just a better version of a previous console, much like PlayStation for example.

1 - 3 are connected. Idk if X is connected since I haven't beaten the epilogue in X yet. X will probably be connected.

I have bought every game no matter the system. Hopefully the Switch 2 is powerful enough to give this world the detail it deserves
