If Nintendo can hit it's fiscal goals... they will have shipped over 128m units and over 1b pieces of software. Pretty impressive for a (then) 6y old platform.

Switch isn't even 5 1/2 years old. It came out March 2017. It definitely is time for a successor.

I said (then) as in when their fiscal year ends in March it will be 6.

This thing released 5 years ago and is only 5 million away from topping the ps4.

Not only is this about to outsell the PS4 lifetime, it's only 80M or so away from becoming the top Nintendo system in terms of Software sales. The Wii and DS hold the 2nd and 1st spots so far but not for long.

Who knew after their worst home console in history Nintendo would immediately follow it up with their best

Yeah, Nintendo know how to innovate. I just love how they really go for the portability aspect. It's a great and convenient way to play, obviously with sacrifices but you cant beat the convenience.

Crossing my fingers the next Switch or system enhances the performance with DLSS for upscaled 4K when docked and native 1080p when on the go. No idea if existing games will get performance boosts like the Pro and One X did for Sony and Microsoft, but I'm hoping.

Everything the Switch does at this point I would think is gravy. 100 mill plus. No more needs to be said..

Xbox sales fell the least last quarter. Sony would have won, but if you can't buy it. Nintendo Switch has reached its peak.
