Review - For the good - the visuals, audio, navigation of paths, combat moments - there are tens of things in XEL that will hold you back.

It's too bad it's multiplatform, because we could have called this the Gamepass Zelda. 😂
Clearly that wasn't the point I was making - however, if you look at any of their game announcements, when they're multiplat, you'll see they list each platform. So I guess you should ask thexboxhub why...
It's no big deal anyway, since this is more the sort of thing people settle for on Game Pass, because it's sh!t. There are better games on the other platforms.

There has never been a shortage of Zelda-like titles, and for good reason - they're usually fun, charming, and riveting. However, some almost become too reliant on the nostalgia and aesthetic, providing a false promise and a disappointing venture into what otherwise could have been a promising experience in the right hands. Unfortunately, XEL finds itself in that camp, providing a game that more often than not loses its soul, feeling careless in the process.
