IGN writes:
Have you always wanted to use telekinetic powers and gunfire at your opponents in a multiplayer arena? Of course you have, but now Ubisoft will fulfill these dreams with their upcoming release of CellFactor: Psychokinetic Wars. The first person multiplayer shooter, which will be released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, will have a single player campaign with ten challenges for each of the three main characters. As a player's score increases, new abilities like increased stamina regeneration, teleporting and faster firepower is unlocked along with new customization options. On top of this, Psychokinetic Wars will support up to sixteen players in Death Match, Team Death Match, Capture the Flag and Assault. Merging powers and gunplay, CellFactor: Psychokinetic Wars will be released in early 2009.

When it comes to online multiplayer for consoles, Call of Duty: Black Ops is the undisputed king in terms of popularity, but it’s by no means the only or even best option. Yes, games like Halo: Reach and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 vie for supremacy (BBC2: Vietnam is a testament to that), but there’s also a handful of downloadable shooters that come up short in terms of features, but still provide fast-paced and thrilling experiences without breaking the bank. If you can’t afford to jump on the COD bandwagon or despise the series, consider the following alternatives.

Overall, while it's light on full games, and contains no PSOne games, this week's update is loaded to the brim with ways to enhance existing games.
