Elden Ring and Red Dead Redemption 2 are two of the best open world action games ever made...but which one is best?
Some of the best PS5 games are exclusives like God of War Ragnarok and Astro Bot, but there are some indie highlights as well.
For World Book Day, here are 10 video games that feel like reading a good book—emotional, thoughtful, and unforgettable stories.
I would have included the Uncharted games as well. Good list though.
Haha it is not lost on me that two of the games in the top four were already novels before they were games
These are the best Easter eggs in video games—from Atari to Elden Ring. Hidden secrets, surprises, and scandals await.
Saving some trapped aliens in Super Metroid and seeing them escape. Daisy's third eye in Melee. Seeing Mario characters portraits in a window at Hyrule castle. Megaman X using Ryu/Ken's movesets in mutiple entries. Bayonetta cosplaying as Fox McCloud while using an Arwing to kill angels and demons. So many good ones throughout the years.
Elden ring keeps you on your toes, feels exciting at every turn. Full of rewards for the player and just plain fun.
Red dead....... Good story aside, the world is empty, boring and a chore to traverse. Easy to fall asleep while playing it.
They are both brillant games in there own right, 2 games that everyone that considers them self a gamer should play!
Weird conparison though outside od them both being open world they are 2 very different games.
Red Dead.
What hurts red dead redemption 2 the most is the mission structure, it's repetitive to the point it's unbearable, but when the game actually let's you explore that's when the brilliant writing shines, I just hope Rockstar looks at Elden Ring, Breath Of The Wild and their own old titles and remember that freedom is what made their games so good to begin with
Two amazing yet totally different games. I'm enjoying the hell out of them both. No need for any "versus" bulls#it.
