Apex Legends Mobile’s New Legend Rhapsody Is Exactly What The Battle Royale Needs

TheGamer's Ben Sledge says: "Apex Legends Mobile Season 2: Distortion has launched this week, bringing Kings Canyon to our phones for the first time. Skull Town’s back too, if you’re pining for the busiest POI in Apex Legends history (yes, I’m including Fragment East). The most exciting addition is the second exclusive Legend to hit the mobile version of Apex, Rhapsody."

Can't spell eat sh*t without ea. Or weak.

People blindly agree to EULAs without reading or familiarising themselves with its bullet points. EULAs of every major company cover this quite well. The company is not liable nor financially obligated to refund products or in-game transactions regardless of whether they're paid or F2P because all they provide is a licence to the product with no ownership rights. They also state no guarantee for the continuation of any product and have the right to terminate or shut it down as they see fit without notice.

The game isn't doing well on mobile. Its player base has been dwindling since launch. Companies aren't in the business of burning money.

EA is one of the best video game companies in the world. Please don't be harsh or insulting in your comments.

Public relations ship crash and burn in 3...2....

Seriously though so many parents who let theirs kids pump money into mobile games I'm sure this game generated quite a lot of money even if it didn't make EA a billion dollars

EA doing what they do best. No one should be surprised.

I thought that this game was actually doing quite well. It's one of the few mobile games that I have anecdotes of people actually playing and I recall it was downloaded in by dozens of millions of people. The revenue from microtransactions was probably not good enough for EA.

While I'm surprised I'm even writing this, EA are doing a great job lately. Now get Battlefield back on track.

Also, give us a MOH remake.

The got 10 million new Sims players in Q3 alone. That in it's own is pretty impressive.

Orchard863d ago

Yeah, going F2P probably helped drive a lot / most of those. But, we all know the Sims is a trap, they probably got in for free and then bought one of the 324239 DLC packs that cost like 15 bucks.

75% of their annual revenue is from Live Service. And people wonder why they keep trying Live Service games.
