Review wise Bayonetta got trashed. But I guess it is the only action title released this year so easy win.
Horizon is a good game but you spend far more time crafting and gathering than anything else not to mention the long cut scenes. Elden ring should have won open world award.
It can take a little while to get going, but The Quarry spins an excellent horror tale that builds up nicely to either a blood-soaked tragedy or a heroic survival story (and several steps in between). Exactly how it ends is tied into an impressive multitude of layers that will have you second-guessing every decision you make, instantly regretting some, only to have them save your bacon further down the line – while other seemingly ‘smart’ choices may quite literally be the death of you.
