BritXbox: The Wheelman Preview

BritXbox: "In what could be called a spiritual successor to the series 'Driver,' Wheelman is 80% driving and 30% on foot action. Within the brightly coloured (non coffee filtered) city of Barcelona you are free to go wherever you please but this game is not a life simulator in some respect. There are no clubs, clothing stores, bowling or annoying friends to call you asking you out on a play date. The focus here is cars, guns and crazy stunts. There are fourteen different cars to use, from Big Rig trucks to motor-cycles in which are balanced in a rock-paper-scissors manner. You may wish to use a bike for speed to whiz past the gangsters who want you dead, but you're vulnerable to being shot and knocked off the bike. You may wish to jump in the trucks and go slowly but destroy everything in path. You might decide to go down the narrow alleyways to give chase, or jump over the round-about to bring the element of surprise. You have the freedom to make your own Hollywood movie chase scene, and it works pretty well."
