I was so pumped for this game until they showed it... I really wanted something 3D with a pretty big budget... RWBY has an amazing world that could translate so well to a bigger console experience. Sad we didn't get that with this. Could still be fun, but I was expecting much more.

I mean, Rwby's most distinctive feature is pretty much that it looks like crap. At least before the new anime came out.I definitely did not expect anything that looked good.

I saw the original and recently the anime version. It did indeed look great, but they cut out too much from the original. The first season was amazing, and they did some questionable changes that made it lose its spirit. It would have been enough to simply make a 1:1 conversion to anime style, or maybe make a "director's cut" to extend the lenght of episodes to the anime lenght standard. Or join 2 episodes into one. But not blend an entire season into barely 1 hour film. If I haven't watched the originals, I think I'd be confused what's going on, or at least not become a fan.

@Viryu Calling anything RWBY "amazing" is highly subjective.

There's an obvious difference in costs between making something with superb animation like the anime, and absolutely horrid animation and art like the original RWBY.

There's nothing confusing about the plot of the first three episodes of the anime. They simply cut the fluff.

Meh, Indie games is way better than this guess what it cost at least 2x lesser than this.
