Good for them. Still looks like Overwatch 1.2 rather then a full fledged sequel. I loved the 1st game but this looks uninspired.

What a shame, games sucks really bad. ppl are leaving to go back to OW1, best thing Blizzard can do not replace the 1st one with this really bad game.

Idk what you are talking about... OW community is pretty thrilled for OW2 beta. No one is really going back to OW1. Most people simply don't have access to this beta yet. OW2 looks better, performs better, it's audio is better, it has new better game mechanics (ping system, actual scoreboard, etc.), it has new game mode and 2CP was removed, new maps, beta has 2 new heroes, multiple hero reworks. Lots of incremental improvements. I do agree that it's enough content to warrant to call it OW2, as it really isn't a full sequel (and never meant to be). But all in all it's still an improvement. Only BIG issues being: Not enough new heroes and still very long queue times due to lack of people wanting to play support role. There will be one new support hero at launch and it will help a bit but not enough. Btw, main reason for a lack of new heroes is that PVE mode has been the primary focus. PVE portion will launch sometime next year. In PVE each hero will have TONS of new talents and complex talent trees for hero development.

Yep. Same. Played a few rounds and it is faster, but a lot of things are stuff they can just patch in?

Ah, well, it is F2P so the player base should be healthier.

I don't play this OW shit anymore and fuck Blizzard but an esports game limited to just 120FPS? LMAO 🤣🤣🤣 Just make like on PC which I still think is capped at 400FPS, even though it won't reach that number it would be much better than to cap it.

Can we call it Overwatch 2 ?

Blizzard Pulled Off One Of Gaming's Biggest Scams, And We Let It Get Away With It

Danish from eXputer: "Blizzard overpromised the PVE elements of Overwatch 2, and then failed to deliver on just about all of them, despite charging money."

franwex4d ago (Edited 4d ago )

No, no, no. Only the people that paid money let them get away with it. There’s no we.

Support Blizzard at your own risk.

Michiel19894d ago

Everyone that I know that used to play overwatch has quit at this point, I don't feel like they got away with it.

PRIMORDUS4d ago

For me the original OW was amazing just for the first 2 yrs after that I had enough. Now I play Paladins from time to time.

Michiel19894d ago

Same for me, it was my favorite game for a good while after it launched and that's coming from someone who doesn't enjoy competitive shooters. I've considered playing Paladins but never bit the bullet, so many good games coming out that it's hard to spare some hours for a competitive game

PRIMORDUS4d ago

So if you just play this POS game without spending a cent Blizzard will not see a profit at all.

Overwatch 2 ximming penalties start going out next season

Blizzard is finally talking about how they are combating the ximming issue on Overwatch 2. Starting in Season 11, if a console player is detected to be using a mouse and keyboard on a console version of Overwatch 2, they will be banned from playing Competitive for a week. While they will still be able to play Quick Play, if they are still found to be ximming, they will then be placed in PC Quick Play matches and lose access to the aim assist tools that console players get.
