Main reason this game got delayed so long

- Unreal 3 engine
- Own engine
- Havoc Engine
- Own Physics Engine

Every step was a complete reset of the project

kid i have been playing videogames much longer than you would think and excuse me for the mistake i saw other pix that did not look so good to me. Did you get that last part, to me, i didnt make a comment for you or anyone else get a grip. Yes i have played duke nukem, when it first came out years ago. It amazes me when people like you think they know everything with the wide arching assumptions i was playing games well before duke nukem was released. My point was what are they thinking releasing pix that look like this when the game has been in development for damn near an eternity get over yourself and vale your own OPINION instead of complaining about my OPINION.

They made Prey and that game was hella good and looked hella nice for a game that released less then a year after 360's launch.

Prey to this day looks better then FPS's released this year including Resistance 2 and CoD: WAW

3D Realms uses there own in house engine so I DOUBT it's the Unreal Engine being used ^^^ like stated above.

I remember in an old game mag way back in 95' talking about Prey and it released in 06 lol.

I really don't know why 3D Realms takes so long with there games...

Could be money or there lead director could have been waiting for technology to advance enough so that the vision he had of Duke Nukem can be created and at least be 80% accurate.

I feel this gen alot of anything can be depicted in video games.

I never get all doom and gloom over a game until it's released no matter how long it takes.

I'm still patiently waiting years for Shenmue 3...it can come out in 2020 and I'd love it either way lol.

Last I heard I thought DNF was on a heavily modified version of either Unreal engine 2 or was it the second Quake engine. Either way to me it looks good and I do hope some day DNF does come out so I can finally play the game.

Actually it uses Unreal 3 engine version 2.0. Remember when they released the trailer earlier this year of him pumping iron? They said the version 2.0 allows for detail such as his muscles stretching and veins moving realistically when he was working out in that clip.

PS3 fanboys will hate on anything they no is coming to 360 and possibly not PS3. The game looks good and I'm sorry but this and Rage are going to bury the likes of even KZ2. Not saying KZ2 will be bad but I truly fear for it and ps3 fanboys hyping it.
