Fextra Life : On top of the upcoming GreedFall 2: The Dying World, developer Spiders has been mighty busy creating a Soulslike Action RPG, which I was fortunate enough to try. In this Steelrising Preview: Gameplay Hands-On Impressions, we will go in deep as we explore the chaotic alternate history of Paris in the 1700s where the French Revolution has been seemingly quelled, albeit in a more vicious and possibly, bloody way. The game is published by Nacon, who helped bring GreedFall to life. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 8, 2022.
Adam Michel: "Today, we’re happy to announce the latest, full Monthly Games lineup for PlayStation Plus. February’s selection is headlined by Square Enix’s competitive yet ultra-colorful online party shooter Foamstars, which makes its debut exclusively on PlayStation Plus. Joining it is a potent mix of skates and gunplay with the highly stylish Rollerdrome, while Steelrising brings you automaton-powered RPG action. All three will be available to PlayStation Plus members on Tuesday, February 6 until Monday, March 4. Let’s take a closer look at each game."
Rollerdrome is an amazing game. Bought it Day 1 and would really like a sequel.
Wow, another very solid month! Definitely noticeable increase in quality this year. Keep it up!
nice!! I have a tendency to spend hours scrolling through the vast catalogs of games available on my devices, looking for something to play and never choosing anything new. In doing that, i have almost bought rollerdrome like 5 different times.
I've very nearly bought Rollerdrome a few times. Even in the New Year sale recently. Delighted with this selection now.
Spiders and NACON have recently announced the new Steelrising Cagliostro’s Secrets release date.
VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "When considering its more modest goals, Steelrising should be treated as a well-intentioned stopgap between larger meals. Yet, after fairly weighing that context and Spiders' stature, I’m still thinking about what could've been improved and expanded. There's also been a rising tide of comparative titles – both in value proposition and awful names – within the Soulslike clade that might do more for you; however, its bundled strengths of strong art direction, atmosphere, and subtle design tweaks are at least worth a specifically-qualified recommendation."
