Great news for Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game fans! In Gaming Steve's podcast interview with Louis Castle, EA VP and designer of Command & Conquer (C&C) and Dune II, he confirmed that a 360 version of Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is currently being developed by the same team responsible for the upcoming 360 version of Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth 2 (BoME2). For BoME2 a unique control scheme was devised to allow playing RTS games on a console, which would be reused for C&C 3.
This is great news! I will rule this game on XBoxLIVE. Hopefully a new Starcraft will not be too far behind.
C&C does pwn, and this game will, on the PC. RTS arent meant for consoles, and it will be poor at best unless it has mouse and keyboard support. and FYI EA doesnt own the right to starcraft.
Whatever dude. Have an open mind and know that nothing stays the same. Battle for Middle Earth is shaping up to be a great console game. There is no reason why this game can't follow in it's footsteps.
This game is the GREATEST RTS. Then again I never played any other one. I got addicted just playing the skirmishes never even liked the solo missions so your right Ghost this will actually force me to go live.
I'm glad this game is coming to the 360. Battle for middle earth is great but I love RTS's. I will have no problem playing both games. Its a great time to be a gamer and own an xbox 360.
