Master Chief: All Armor Designs Ranked From Best To Worst

BLG writes: "Master Chief very well might be one of gaming’s most iconic protagonists given Halo’s popularity. He’s certainly one of my favorites—the silent hero who struggles to repress his personal desires in the face of duty is quite an engaging arc. There’s more nuance to Master Chief than many let on. There’s plenty of nuance in his design, too. It’s undeniable that we love Master Chief in part because we love Master Chief’s armor. Given the series’ great art direction, it’s compelling to look at how his aesthetic evolved between games."

Helljumpers | Gameplay Reveal | Halo Infinite

Get a first look at just one of our linear missions in Helljumpers and prepare to drop into an experience, like no other in Halo.

Too slow to be trying to emulate divers...

gigoran82d ago

its just a coop multiplayer mission. is this really meant to be their answer to helldivers?

spicelicka2d ago

Who is "their"? This is not made by Microsoft dude lol. It's a fan-made mode made in Halo Infinite, why would they need an "answer" to anything?

There are dozens of fan-made modes in Infinite inspired by many many games. You have Cod Zombies in there, rocket league, battle royale, etc.

RaidenBlack2d ago

this is not an "answer" ... this is a mode to introduce ODST to infinite ... ODST aka Helljumpers predates helldivers 1 by 11 years

"Before you can dive, you must Jump!"

Hellrunner incoming, lol.

This is an example of what I have been saying: their isn't enough real talent in the industry.

Sitdown10d ago

Can you explain what you say in the article that supported your point.

anast10d ago (Edited 10d ago )

"Clopper shared his belief that the Battle Royale mode for Halo Infinite could have been a game changer for the franchise."

Battle Royale games are creatively bankrupt. The former dev. isn't creative enough to see why something like this needed to be cancelled and probably should have never been started in the first place. These are the same people getting hired to do mediocre things.

There would be fewer games if only the actual creative people were making them.

“There would be fewer games if only the actual creative people were making them.“

Actually, I think there would be (far) more games, if only the no-nothing suits would just trust the creative people to do their thing and allow them to take risks, instead of just going for big pay-off bets on industry buzzwords.

I miss the days of the big companies just going with a combination of smaller and medium-sized games across different genres, like old EA which was pumping out stuff like Def Jam, NBA Street, Timesplitters, Burnout, Fight Night, SSX, etc. Not going for mass-market appeal, but just trying to make cool original games in diverse genres across the board.

It seems the suits don’t like those ‘risks’ any more.

"I think there would be (far) more games"

It's a numbers thing not an opinion. Look up how many games were made in the past 5 years and then compare it the 90s.

I honestly would've loved a Halo BR... maybe in the next game
