Cultured Vultures: With Xbox & Bethesda's 2022 Game Showcase looming on the horizon, we're putting down our predictions of what we'd like to see.
As part of its plans to cut 1,900 jobs, Microsoft has reportedly shut down operations at Bethesda France, letting go roughly 15 people
Bethesda France was made up of roughly 15 people... they couldn't of being doing much
Bethesda France mainly did publishing and marketing within the region
Bethesda France focused on publishing and marketing in the region. And 15 people lost their jobs as part of the closure.
I wonder if this is part of Microsoft's strategy to abandoned physical media or possibly gamepass advertising makes their roles redundant you don't need to market a game as hard when the majority of players get the game as part of a sub which already promoted upcoming games
Tbh Microsoft I think Bethesda being 3rd party same with Activision would probably more competitive than thus scenario imo
The recently purchased Activision French offices might take over all the licensing and marketing for Microsoft in France from now on.
Saad from eXputer: "I'm glad I don't have to choose between Square Enix, Atlus, and FromSoftware due to bad release windows and Shadow of the Erdtree."
What a word vomit, rambling, turd of an article that simply states the obvious. Classic exputer.
Sony has recently published a new patent that wants to dynamically handle the games' difficulty and gameplay based on the player's emotions.
This is something I might use. Sometimes I play some good games but they don’t have difficulty option and are a little too easy.
cool idea
cool idea for horror games especially
the way it's explained here sounds like it could never be forced hopefully, so that's ok with me
1 - Starfield
2 - Fable
3 - Avowed
4 - Hellblade 2
5 - Killer Instinc 2
6 - Forza Motorsport
7 - Project Dragon
8 - Project Midnight
9 - Project Cobalt
10 - Redfall
Also would love to see some news and updates for State of Decay 3, Contraband, Indiana Jones and Perfect Dark.
My predictions:
1) Modern Warfare 2 Remake will be on Game Pass Day 1
2) Jedi Fallen Order 2 will be on Game Pass Day 1
3) Hellblade 2 and the next Forza come out THIS year
4) Ubisoft + will be added to Game Pass Ultimate at no additional cost
5) We get confirmation that Indiana Jones is in fact an Xbox/PC exclusive
6) Microsoft will officially acquire Asobo
My hail Mary prediction:
Microsoft will have some type of exclusive deal with Warner Bros. I don't know if they acquire Warner Bros Games as a whole, or if they buy a piece of it (Netherealm Studios with the MK IP)....but somethings going on Warner Bros Games IMO.
AAA fighting games are a glaring omission in Game Pass and I'm sure it's something Uncle Phil wants to rectify.
Not getting greedy here, but there is a severe lack of quality story Focused RPG's at the minute. Only good one I can think in last few years is Forbidden west.
Give us Starfield, Avowed and fable gameplay and release dates. Alongside hellblade, and I'll be over the moon.
Anything on top is a bonus for me!
Gameplay trailers and launch dates. No kind of marketing tricks with assets trailers and cgi trailers.
I just want Wolfenstein 3
