Obsidian Entertainment seems to be using the newest Unreal Engine 5 technology from Epic to build the first-person fantasy RPG Avowed.
Carrie Patel, ex-Game Director for Avowed, takes her expertise to Netflix's Night School after 12 impressive years at Obsidian.
The Morrowind gag is, blessedly, still in the game in a different form.
Matt Owen from Super Gamesite 64 says..."While all are serviceable, some are better than others. Make sure you pick the best companions in Avowed for the job."
Pretty excited for this game! Should fill in the gap as we wait for ES6.
I get a hexen / heretic vibe when I see this game.
I'm of the opinion that Bethesda is lucky they're owned by Microsoft because obsidian was probably working to take the crown from their elder scrolls series with avowed.
Also if you can't tell by my opinion up above I'm looking forward to avowed on pc
Unreal Engine 5 means no more last gen so I hope every game uses it now.
Can´t wait for June when we´ll finally get release dates, trailers, gameplay and further details on many of Xbox first party games.
