CCG writes - "The premise of Postal 4 is that after the good ending of Postal 2: Paradise Lost, The Postal Dude and his dog Champ set out with his trailer to find a new place to settle down, or they did until someone stole the trailer while the Dude was at a rest stop. Broke and figuring he might find a lead in the nearby city of Edensin, The Dude finds himself engaging in another week of wacky errands and an overwhelming urge to go postal."
They finished the game on PC in Early Access so Skewed and Reviewed went into the PS5 version to just goof around and learn the controls. The Haptic triggers are a nice touch as was the ability to select which Postal Dude voice you wanted as they showed off some PS5 gameplay.
"From the Developers at Running with Scissors that brought amazing titles such as Postal, Postal 2, and so on comes the latest in this epic franchise: Postal 4: No Regerts. With all the crude humour and hilarious one-liners that Postal fans know, remember, and expect from this series. Postal 4: No Regerts goes on to meet these expectations and somehow keeps the momentum going." Mathew @ Thumb Culture
CM:
The Postal series does not have a graceful history. Iffy releases, loads of controversy, and a generally acceptable level of jank, these games were never meant to be masterful works of art. They were very much games of their time, in the same vein as Duke Nukem and the like. They were absurd and over-the-top first-person shooters aimed to shock and offend. When Postal 2 released in 2003, my fifteen year old self found the prospect of using stray cats as silencers and urinating on people to be the absolute peak of entertainment. Now, twenty years later, does Postal 4 still bring that type of experience? And will I still enjoy it now that I am a senior citizen?
Well if someone asked me to place a bet that Christ Centered Gamer would give a Postal game a high score on a review I would have lost the heck out of that bet.
This is the best FPS version in the series so far imo.
