They're usually on sale for like a dollar for steam, so had em all anyways, but not surprised

This is why emulation and roms are so important for game preservation.

Sega is doing that so they can sell them again as Sonic Origins (which includes the originals). It's pretty crummy taking the option of buying any version away from people.

Similar to Rockstar delisting the digital versions of the GTA games ahead of the remastered release.

I’ve de-listed Sega 🥴

I'll just stick with my Model 1 Genesis and Model 2 Sega CD to play Sonic 1,2&3 and Sonic CD I am not going to touch this collection.

Yeah it’s not like it’s an essential purchase it’s been done for the sega Saturn It got done on ps2/3/4 switch 3ds had the normal versions then the sega ages versions. Xbox 360 had them all, I’ll probably grab it but not until it’s 90% 🤣✌🏻 Think I’ve got them on most consoles even my phone these days

Plus you can’t beat playing on the original hardware and cheating and using the mini ones and adding a few games 🙌🏻😜

I'm gonna say whilst i disagree with them removing the other digital versions, I would say these versions are better than the original hardware just down to the fact they are the whitehead/taxman ports which fix alot of the original bugs and add in new and removed content.
