Originally a Sony Studio, Evolution Studios worked on WRC, MotorStorm and Driveclub, before being purchased by Codemasters to create Onrush and DIRT 5. Now, they will be working on Need for Speed.
The Nerd Stash: "Here are the best iconic cars in the Need For Speed games that have become the signature of this franchise in the past two decades."
Over the years, the Need For Speed series has proven to be more than capable of offering the ultimate racing experience.
EA's highly anticipated racing title Need For Speed Mobile is now available as early access in Australia for Android and iOS.
NFS needs all the help they can get, and who better than some of the guys from Evolution. Nice to see many have joined teams at Playground, Avalanche and Codemasters and continue to help where needed.
Great news. NFS definitely needs help and a nice campaign mode similair to the original most wanted or carbon would be a good start. This is a talented developer and hopefully will be able to deliver one of the best NFS games we have had in a long time. Fingers crossed.
Really nice. Big fan of that studio
Could go either way with them helping.
I enjoyed every entry in the MotorStorm series. It was a brilliant arcade racer that was perfectly pitched for both casual players and hardcore gamers. At the time, it was some of the most exhilarating gameplay available on the PS3.
I feel the developers (and the teams they later joined) tend to make games with a good balance of "serious racing" and "wacky nonsense". Should be a perfect fit for the NFS series.
