From car lovers, for car lovers. Can only speak for the PS5 version, GT7 is a great game.

EvertonFC means they have 218 cars in their garage.

Bring us Grand Valley Speedway. That is all.

Unless you don't like semi-simulation type racing games....there's nothing not to like about this game...it's excellent...even more so for fans of the series like me .(38 years old) A good return...because the last 3 iterations have been really bad.Maybe it miss some iconic car like the Golf R ou the good old civic SIR.....but hey...nothing is perfect.

I'd argue that the 'campaign' in GT Sport has more content, is more challenging, and is more fun than the cafe campaign in GT7. Also the AI in GT7 is worse than it is in GT Sport.

No, the AI is notably worse and they have more ways to cheat than they do in GT Sport. Also, the latest patch had to fix the AI for Nurburgring. It's there in the patch notes. Probably because most of the time, when not driving slowly through an apex, the AI would sit in the middle of the track, making it impossible to pass without getting on the grass, or you could risk making contact with them only to have your car bounce off them like a ping pong ball, going into an inevitable spin, and end up pointing in the wrong direction (about as random as the roulette tickets!).

Yes, the cafe menus were well done, but see my post above as to why GT Sport's is better.

Well, have fun doing that final cafe menu race: two laps of the full Nurburgring layout starting in the night.
The lighting is amazing though.

How do you explain that nitro like effect when the AI suddenly goes blasting past you from behind on a straight, then suddenly backs off for no reason?

Or AI cars that you passed laps ago, suddenly pulling a comeback out of nowhere and catching you on the straight at Circuit de la Sarthe without even using slipstream?

Remember that the GT sport campaign had years of updates to get like that

Knushwood Butt1097d ago

Andy

True.

I wonder if they will add to the menu going forward.

Have they fixed that microtransactions?

Knushwood Butt1098d ago

Yes, all cars are now free. In fact, if you wipe your save file and start again, you start off with all 400+ cars in your garage. Sunday Cup in a Dodge Viper with comfort tires!

andy851097d ago

They don't need to. Given you can earn over $30 worth of credits an hour with the tomahawk tuning setup on tokyo race. Anyone who pays real money should sit in a dark room and think about what they've done.

andeo17071097d ago

that has been removed with this update. There are still great ways of earning money though and without it being too easy.

andy851097d ago

@andeo1707 nope it hasn't

MrBaskerville1097d ago

I wish they'd add a proper GT mode. Feels lackluster compared to prior installments. Personally I' satisfied with the amount of cars and tracks, the issue is the campaign, imo. Which is funny, as it would be super easy to make more of it.

The Aston Martin Vintage?

Does the senior product manager not proofread?

andy8532d ago

Wish they'd put a couple of endurance races in. Every time there's an update I have the cars and the events finished in 30 mins

"The next-generation racing AI agent, Gran Turismo Sophy has evolved into “GT Sophy 2.1” and is now available in ‘Custom Race’ (PS5 version only)

‘GT Sophy’ can now be selected as the rival AI in Custom Race on all GT Sophy supported tracks and layouts in World Circuits."

This should be fun to play with.
