The source link (Twitter) is working just fine over here. :/

Weird. Still getting a HTTP 400 error.

Lightning77733d ago

Good to see the graphically they're meeting expectations.

thesoftware730733d ago

Indeed, if the game really looks that good it is 100% on another level.

Livingthedream733d ago

Stunning, definitely next gen! Can’t wait to play it!

jBlakeeper733d ago

Well it’s one of the first games that will be released using UE5. Making it truly next gen. So graphics like these are what we are hopefully in for in the near future.

BestBusdriver733d ago

No thx. Forza over GT....God of War over Hellblade

Jin_Sakai733d ago (Edited 733d ago )

Forza Motorsport, God of War: Ragnarök, and Hellblade 2 for me.

Barry32171733d ago

Exactly! No reason that we cannot enjoy them all. 8)

Flawlessmic733d ago

Yea i dont see why they cant all be enjoyed.

MrChow666733d ago

What does God of War have to do with Hellblade? please explain

Stanjara732d ago

Like it or not, but it's a direct competitor to GOW from MS. They are really pushing it with production, graphics and technology.
Now all we have to see is gameplay, story and characters.

Godmars290732d ago

@Stanjara:
Given what's been shown, not seeing much worth comparing.

Even before the new GOW had a release date they were showing more than single multi-tone gray/black scenery.

And I'm trying not to be harsh, but this is coming off as another overly high expectations in need to be lowered.

Omegasyde732d ago

Damn I’d love another heavenly sword, which is comparable. Not hellblade

Obscure_Observer732d ago

@Godmars290

"Given what's been shown, not seeing much worth comparing."

How could you? You saw Hellblade II´s gameplay trailer and complained about the lack of on screen hud/commands, assuming that it was not gameplay. Lol.

You never played Hellblade in your life and somehow you feel like you´re entitled to make comparisons. XD

@Obscure_Observer:
How does seeming lack of gameplay take away from apparent lack of gameplay?

Likewise how does if I played Hellblade or not invalidate my opinion of it being compared to GoW? Honestly haven't played the new game but I've still saw more stills and video of it and its gameplay as I have of either Hellblade. Many here have as likely never touched any iteration of GoW yet have put Hellbalde II on par with it.

FFS: How many times do we honestly have to go through this round and round of MS announcing something, maybe showing a CG trailer, their fan camp going ape-s**t over a "Sony-Killer" only to then have to deal with the usual Seven Stages with even then few getting past "acceptance" that said "killer" never came close?

Well, that remains to be seen. God of War is awesome and I honestly don´t think Ninja Theory has the experience to go against Santa Monica when comes to AAA development. But you also understand that Sony fans (like yourself) has curb stomp Xbox games and its quality for a long time. Just like you did, above.

Thing is, no one stays at top forever and Xbox is truly investing in first party games and its quality, to the point where they don´t need to rush anything anymore like showing gameplay of games that is are no ready to show.

Sony however has no other choice but to truly invest in their games AND convince PS gamers that PS5 games are really worth of 70$ in contrast with Series XS games at 60$ and day one Gamepass offerings.

So don´t be surprised when you see comparisons made between GT7 vs Forza Motorsport, Horizon vs Starfield and God of War vs Hellblade II.

Then, and only then, we´ll talk about those Seven Stages of yours.

Review - A Difficult Game About Climbing (PC) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "A Difficult Game About Climbing is obviously frustrating, and I don’t exactly think it’s a fun pasttime, but it’s exponentially more enjoyable than the horrendous Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy. It’s actually beatable with enough trial and error. Its mechanics, whilst not exactly polished to the brim, work as intended, with no intentional input lag. It’s still clearly meant for Let’s Play youtubers to film themselves losing their minds over it, but it can still be a passable challenge if you’re up for the task."

Review - New Star GP (PC) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "I loved that New Star GP ended up being nothing like what I was expecting from it. I thought I was going to get a simple and straightforward love letter to Virtua Racing, only for it to be something more akin to the best F1 racing games from the mid to late 90s, with a perfect blend of accessible physics and simulation elements. New Star GP is adorably retro in its visuals and vibes, but it’s got some surprising amount of depth and an interesting career mode. A little hidden gem in the racing scene, without a doubt."
