Lol ... Who would do that ??? The best controllers are on xbox

Xbox controllers for decades have been over blown like crazy. Its not until the latest Xbox Series controller do I finally feel like MS did a decent job. Prior to the year 2020, their controllers were not good enough.

Trash D-pads for decades.
Terrible convexed face buttons with awful hard plastic that hurt my finger tips if rapidly pressed.
Uncomfortable LB RB buttons that force me to stretch too far to reach them.
L and R triggers on the 360 controller can pinch my fingers due to the gap between trigger and shell. Usually happens in racing games.

I bought this adapter to use Xbox Series controllers on 360, and it feels so much better. Except the LB RB buttons are still a tad bit too far away to reach. Other than that, I really do like the improvements MS has made. Still not as good as Sony or Nintendo Pro controllers (JoyCons are terrible, though).

I use one on PC and I agree. Infact I like my controller with zero feedback, don't care about rumble or even if it had feedback like the PS5's controller. I just want to play the game and that's it. 😁 And yes I have tried the PS5 controller and again I don't care about feedback anymore.

It's all personal preferences. People already argue over which box is better so we really don't need another argument that splits the gamers

Grow up everyone please

Xbox controllers are shit. Is the reason why people find all kind of way to get Dualsense to work on the Xbox.

I would want to use a xbox controller on ps5 and switch

Chocoburger745d ago

You can, but it has to be wired. Brook Wingman NS to use on Switch. Brook Wingman XE works on PS3 / PS4 / PS5 (backwards compatible PS4 games only, will NOT work on native PS5 games).

Same but this adapter is great for original xbox and 360 since you cant buy new controllers anymore for those consoles. I bought a series x controller on sale and have only used it on those two consoles since I don't have a Series X. I even tried it with my PS4 and PS5 controllers and that worked too.

I bought this recently, to use Xbox Series controllers on Xbox and Xbox 360. It works fantastically, except it MUST BE WIRED! That's the only flaw. The 360 controller is the most over hyped controller in history, it has a lot of flaws that everyone glances over. However, the Xbox Series controllers feel a lot better in the hand, so its a worthwhile trade off.

I recommend it for Xbox and Xbox 360 gaming, if you don't mind going back to wired controllers.

Honestly would buy this just to be able to use my fightsticks on Xbox. That alone would save me from having to buy new fightsticks

hiawa23745d ago

Why would I want to do that?

It sounds neat but last thing I need is something that will fry my Xbox I tend to shy away form third party stuff been like that since the 16bit days.
