A new 1.0.3 update has gone live for the Switch tactical RPG Triangle Strategy, and the official patch notes are available.
VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "Art direction is an aspect of video games that goes beyond just sheer technological brilliance. It means creating a style and look for a game in order to draw out a specific, desired response from the audience. Whether rooted in cultural, societal, or even just purely emotional conventions, any well-designed game will try to influence players and tell them something about the game's world through its art direction.
The following five titles embody this, from Stray's impressive neon-bathed streets and Scorn's H.R. Giger-inspired visions of horror, to Elden Ring's decaying world of fallen demigods and God of War Ragnarök's realms of the ancient Norse gods, and finally Triangle Strategy's distinctive retro visuals."
Triangle Strategy has come to PC and it's both a solid strategy RPG and a solid Game of Thrones-style political thriller.
Daily Video Game writes: "If you've been holding yourself back from picking up Switch first-party games because of budget, Amazon is running a new digital sale that offers solid discounts on many Switch first-party titles, including Metroid Dread, Triangle Strategy, and more, for a limited time!"
These articles make me laugh when they can’t tell you what the update does because they just copy and paste what is literally said when you click “update”.
