"Mario Kart 8 Deluxe raced onto Switch way back in 2017. All these years later, Nintendo has decided to further extend the life of the game with the release of the Booster Course Pass. This season pass-style DLC can be bought for $25 or accessed via a premium Nintendo Switch Online Plus Expansion Pack membership. The Booster Course Pass currently adds two cups with a total of eight extra tracks at launch, with a whopping 40 additional tracks set to be released by the end of 2023," says Co-Optimus.

It’s an exciting prospect to be sure, but after two Nintendo systems with Mario Kart 8 at their heart, a lot of questions remain about how Nintendo will choose to follow it up."
I hope they just keep building on Mario Kart 8; Add a track-creation tool, and probably open it up to more Nintendo IPs with new tracks and characters, so Metroid, Punch Out, Starfox, Animal Crossing, etc etc.

Nintendo made out like bandits with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It's the same game that was on the WiiU except they added 2 item boxes like in double dash.
It's the Capcom method:
1. Add a new word to the end of the title and features that should've been expected first time around.
2. Charge full price for it.
3. Profit.
this is why i always say that Nintendo will always be fine. look at those numbers lol
and those are all first party games.
