Gran Turismo 7 Description Says That Players Can Sell Cars Even If the Game Doesn't Let You

A user on Reddit has pointed out that a description of Gran Turismo 7 says that you can sell cars even if you don't have the ability to.

Maybe an internal memo leaked onto the description?

Kinda figured they originally would have meant you to but that hurts the microtransactions. That's the only reason they made it online only so they could nerf if needed. Everyone who bought the physical version last week could have still been playing with day 1 credit rewards if not.

Teflon021153d ago

Likely means it's going to be implemented. That's not exactly abnormal tbh. Alot of titles have advertised things early. It does make sense with their black market or whatever it was. They likely didn't implement day 1 to figure what a proper resale or sellers value would be or to find a system that doesn't turn into PSO2 where people sell things at ridiculous prices lol

Ryzza51153d ago

Advertised features early... You mean like No Man's Sky?

whitbyfox1153d ago

Another lie from Polyphony. Bunch of scumbags.

Only way they can fix this is by reverting the race credits back to pre-patch and allowing the selling of cars either won or bought like the originals.

dumahim1153d ago

And set some realistic prices. There's no reason a nitrous kit should be 100k Cr.

Sounds like they're company name Polyphony is fitting

Merriam-Webster
Phony
Definition of phony (Entry 1 of 4)
: not genuine or real: such as
a (1): intended to deceive or mislead

Games great when don't expect them to give you everything you want if it doesn't suit their goals. I love the game and can't, for the life of me, see what all this fuss is about. Microtransactions, credits, etc are all theirs to determine how they are handled. Constantly whining about what you don't like doesn't get you results. We are adult enough to understand tantrums are often exercised by children. Game's great.🤷🏾‍♂️

Lol look at all these ppl who havent played commenting. Like almost every gt gift and prize cars cant be sold. Any car you buy outright can.

CML21153d ago

Nope. Tried to find an option to sell a car I bought from Brand Central. Can only discard it. :/

Stanjara1153d ago

Look at you by not playing the game.

outsider16241153d ago

I have the game right now. If you can please tell me where..I'd appreciate it.

whitbyfox1152d ago

That backfired. You haven’t played it if you think that.

Gran Turismo 7’s next update includes four cars, launches 15th May

The usual update cycle has been broken, with a mid-month Gran Turismo 7 patch to include a Suzuki, a Honda, a Chevrolet Corvette and a Ferrari.

Imagine how insane GT8 is gonna look. PD always pushing the hardware to its limits.

jukins7d ago

Hope they just wait for ps6 so nothing has to be held back.

derek6d ago

💯, love this game in vr, gotg for me so far.

Amplitude6d ago

I really wish they'd do a Gran Turismo Horizon. There's not enough arcade racers these days.
It's pretty much just Forza Horizon.

I want Citta di Aria track. Imagine that. Toughest, tightest track

RaiderNation6d ago (Edited 6d ago )

Been shouting this for a while. I dont care if Polyphony ever adds another car to this game. Give us tracks!!! Especially city tracks that are "alive"! Where's Seattle? Where's Rome? Wheres Hong Kong? Hell they dont even have to be free! Release a track pack for 19.99 with like 4 new locations! I'd happily buy it!

INMATEofARKHAM6d ago

Its crazy to think Forza just added a track that's over 10 mile in lenght this week! The much beloved Fujimi Kaido that hasn't been seen since Forza 4.

repsahj6d ago

PD please include suzuki spresso next time!
