Today Square Enix finally unveiled the gameplay of its upcoming FullMetal Alchemist mobile game with a brand new trailer.
Square Enix may be famous for Final Fantasy but it also has plenty of mobile games, which aren't always successful, like Engage Kill and Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile.
They must have spent a fortune on those games, I don't know if they're breaking even or making money on them, I think in their last financial report, they stated that mobile revenue was lower than they expected?
A game about Fullmetal Alchemist with gorgeous graphics and interesting gameplay is getting canned after not making enough profit... It's almost like its fanbase was waiting for a global freaking release!!

Despite not being any masterpieces, I really liked those old PS2 FMA games, I had a lot of fun with Broken Angel. A new FMA game in the style of the upcoming One Piece Odyssey would be awesome
Gotta love how mobile games are marketed. Stick a huge overlay blocking most of the screen, show mostly 3D awesome looking animations and 2 second long clips of actual gameplay that reveal it's an isometric turn base game.

The mixture between grid and fighting systems reminds me of a PS1 game I had of Shaman King which I loved. There's only one thing I ask of this game and that's to be released on PC!!

I hate mobile games but I might actually play this since i have an extra phone now if it comes to the u.s.
