VGC has captured the first 30 minutes of Grand Theft Auto V running on PlayStation 5.
The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.
With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.
I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.
Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder
One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
Oooooohhh ahhhhhhhhhhh
Looks virtually the same as the version I've been playing on PC for the better part of a decade.
Looking forward to playing the remake of the remake of the remake on PS6
If they won't implement ALL online features like businesses, clubs, casinos, missions, clothes, cars etc etc into single player, I don't give a shit, even if it seems like reality
I'm so glad there's so many great games out so I didn't but into this nonsense for a third time
I dunno if this trick works on PS5 as I ended up buying it on Series X (just have more GTA playing friends on Xbox is literally the only reason so don't hate on me), but if you change your location to Japan and reboot, you can play the new version right now. I've been playing it off and on all day today.
The upgrades are very nice. Its significantly sharper and more clear. The raytracing stuff is nice. It seems to have better reflection quality etc (whether it be screen space or RT im not sure, just better) and running it in performance RT mode is my fav. Buttery smooth 60 fps (i think) framerates etc. Draw distances are better. Vegetation etc and textures look pretty drastically improved. The characters tend to look a bit better too but keep in mind its still using the old engine with the old setup, just having better textures, so you still aren't gonna get the dope hair effects and animations we've been seeing on newer games like Forbidden West or Halo Infinite etc but overall its way better than playing the previous version.
It's not gonna look like a brand new next gen game, mind you, but it feels a lot more like playing it on a PC with really high if not maxed out settings.
